Behind every single product stands a person or family who contributes with his/her company to the prosperity and development of the region. In addition, the kitchen and the service process food carefully. They revert to the knowledge and the experience of their forefathers. Dishes are adapted to the season and products are regionaly bought and used as "a whole". The menu contest (vegetarian, seasonal, regional) does not only train the guests sense of taste, but also contributes to the climate consciousness of the employees and regional suppliers.

An average STERN guest does not produce more than 12kg CO2 per night. In an international ranking this corresponds to climate category A. However, even these emissions are compensated, so holidays at STERN consequently do not put any strain to the climate. Have a holiday with a good feeling.In addition, at STERN guests can experience how easy and beneficial it may be to shed CO2 pounds and consequently reduce the impact of their personal CO2 footprint.At dinner, choose the "eardige" menu (Tyrolean for „closely related to nature") which ingredients and old recipes originate from regional producers. Guests enjoy the self-picked fruits they found on a Pick & Berry Tour, relax, hike, go skiing, or spend an overnight in our hay barn in the "Lärchenwiesen" fields.The stay of STERN guests is climate-neutral. This means that those CO2 emissions, that cannot be saved, are compensated with the help of two climate protection investments.
